Mickey Mantle was born on October
20, 1931 in Spavinaw, Oklahoma. He
died on August 13,1995 in Dallas, Texas
at the age of 63. His wife was Merlyn
Mantle and they had four sons named
David, Danny, Mickey Jr., and Billy. Billy
died in 1994 of Hodgkin’s disease. After
high school Mickey Mantle went to the
University of Oklahoma.
