FM Radio Tuner)
One (1) DVD (Digital Versatile Disk)

One (1) VCR (Video Cassette Recorder)
One (1) Dell Desktop Computer, one (1)
monitor, one (1) keyboard, one (1)
mouse, and two (2) speakers
Two (2) speakers mounted on the ceiling
located in the front of the room

One (1) overhead projector
 This product gives one the capability to
project or show documents on a screen to
the audience without the need of
transparencies
One (1) projector mounted on the ceiling
located in the middle portion of the
room
Benefits of “SMART” Classrooms
Provide current news events
Transmit medical, educational, and
technological breakthroughs
Enable instructors to show various
documents directly from the computer
screen onto a larger screen for class
viewing
Allow instructors to show VHS tapes
and/or DVDs without having to check
them out of the library
Offer windows to a world of information

the corners of the classroom
Video cameras for recording what is
happening in the classroom
Microphones for audio purposes
Advantages of Videoconference Classrooms
Eliminate the need to commute to
Temple or to satellite schools
Educate more students without the need
of additional instructors
Alleviate overcrowded classrooms
Provide immediate interaction between
the instructor and the students
Eliminates additional faculty personnel
expenditures
Current Problems with Videoconferencing
Need for additional rooms at Temple
College and at off-campus facilities
