Career Portfolio
Your personal career portfolio is an organized collection of
information about your:
• Assessment results
• Clusters and occupations being considered.
• Educational plans and grades.
• School and community activities.
• Favorite schools, majors, and scholarships (high school only).
• Résumés and cover letters (high school only).
• Favorite companies and jobs (high school only).
• Other content that is scanned or uploaded.

Ways to use a portfolio
• Keep a record of results of inventories and tests.
• Make plans for high school (or college) courses to be taken
and record credits and grades.
• Track choices about occupations, majors, and schools and
return to explore and re-prioritize them.
• Keep notes about career plans.
• Record in-school and out-of-school activities.
• Develop, update, and store résumés that can be printed or
sent electronically to potential employers.
• Keep information important to career planning organized in
one place where it is easy to access.
• Post a public e-Portfolio for review for employers and school
personnel during high school.
