• To know whether to continue to keep the occupation
on your personal list.
• To know what kind of future education is needed.
• To know what courses to take in school.

Using Kuder® Navigator to gather
information about occupations
Access Kuder Navigator at www.kudernavigator.com (or your
state-specific site) and follow the instructions below.
• Sign on by clicking on Log In and entering the user name and
password you created when you signed on the first time.
• Select Explore Occupations and then click By Assessment
Results in the upper left-hand menu.
• Click on the title of any occupation that you want to learn
about. Give special consideration to those that are
suggested by both the interest and skills assessment results.

Using Kuder Navigator to gather
information about occupations, Cont’d
• Read all sections of information about each occupation.
• Watch the video about the occupation.
• If your instructor has indicated that you can use the printer,
print the description of the occupation.
• If this occupation appeals to you, save it in your portfolio by
clicking on the star at the upper left of its description.
• If you want to consider this occupation as one of your top
three, complete a worksheet for it.
• Repeat this process for two other occupations.

Homework for Next Session
• Choose one occupation from today’s research that
appeals to you.
• Call or visit a person who works in that occupation.
• Use Activity 16: Information Interview as the basis
for your interview.
