2nd Quarter Project
Due: 12/11/15
Creating a rubric for each option is almost impossible so here are some basic
guidelines that MUST be followed/met for each grade ---*** If
an A grade is desired:
It must be evident that you have a complete grasp of the concept! The
project must SHOW/EXPRESS the creators FULL understanding of the
concept, including vocabulary, principles, ideas, methods, and products.
Illustrations, video, graphics, images –all representations must be done
with great creativity, detail and imagination.
Not being neat, is not an option. If you want an A your product must go
above and beyond!!!!!
Clean, 100% readable, attractive, precise, orderly, and organized!!!!!
-in cases of a video performance – of course it wouldn’t be readable
this would refer more to understandable.
Points earned for a grade A: 72-80
Actual points earned will be subjective – up to grader
2nd Quarter Project

a B grade is desired:
It must be evident you have a good grasp of the concept! The
project must SHOW/EXPRESS the creators understanding of the
concept, including vocabulary, principles, ideas, methods, and products. No
misinformation can be included – a B would indicate not all concept
ideas/points were included.
Illustrations, video, graphics, images –all representations must be done
with creativity, detail and imagination.
Not being neat, is STILL not an option. If you want an B your product
be clean, readable, attractive, precise, orderly, and organized!!!!!
-in cases of a video performance – of course it wouldn’t be readable
this would refer more to understandable.
Points earned for a grade B: 64-71

2nd Quarter Project
Due: 12/11/15
Creating a rubric for each option is almost impossible so here are some basic
guidelines that MUST be followed/met for each grade ---*** If
a C grade is desired:
It must be evident that you have a satisfactory grasp of the concept. The
project must SHOW/EXPRESS the creators understanding of the
concept, including vocabulary, principles, ideas, methods, and products. No
misinformation can be included but basic points/big ideas are missing.
Illustrations, video, graphics, images –all representations must be done
with creativity and imagination.
Not being neat, is STILL not an option. But if you don’t mind earning a C
your product can look like an average –I put this together in 1 day construct.
It still must be clean, readable, orderly, and somewhat organized.
-in cases of a video performance – of course it wouldn’t be readable
this would refer more to understandable.
Points earned for a grade C: 56-63
Actual points earned will be subjective – up to grader
2nd Quarter Project
Due: 12/11/15
Creating a rubric for each option is almost impossible so here are some basic
guidelines that MUST be followed/met for each grade ---*** If
a D grade is desired:
It must be evident that you have a somewhat of a grasp of the concept.
The project must SHOW/EXPRESS whatever is the creators understanding
of
the concept, including vocabulary, principles, ideas, methods, and products.
Major points and ideas included in concept are missing and (unfortunately)
misinformation will be included –it will be pointed out.
Illustrations, video, graphics, images –must be included but significant
effort will not be evident.
Not being neat, is never an option, but we will see sloppy here. If you
want to earn a D and don’t care about your semester grade then start your project
on Saturday December 11th, just throw something together. Rips, stains, pencil
markings, crooked work that is semi-readable, not attractive or orderly.
Points earned for a grade D: 48-55
Actual points earned will be subjective – up to grader
2nd Quarter Project

guidelines that MUST be followed/met for each grade ---*** If
F grade is desired:
Don’t turn in a project

There are no points to be subjective about. If you do not turn in a project on Friday
December 11th you will earn
0/80
All projects are due Friday December 11th
If you do not get a chance to present your project
it will not be considered late we will get to them

TOPICS CAN NOT BE DUPLICATED
IN A CLASS PERIOD
So if there is a specific topic that is
your favorite, it would be wise to
choose ASAP so the topic is not taken
by another student/group.
That also means that if there are people from
another class in your group, topics cannot be
duplicated in their class either!!
