Program
When Should I Contact International
SOS?
To find out what vaccinations you need for your travel destination, or want to discuss how to
manage your pre-existing condition in your travel destination.
If you would like security advice regarding your upcoming travel.
To obtain Medical Referrals for your destination.
If you feel ill or get injured in your travel destination, even if you feel the illness or injury is
minor, and you would like to speak with a doctor.
To obtain assistance with scheduling a medical appointment while in your travel destination.
If you run out of your prescription medication while abroad.
If you are injured in a car accident while traveling.
If you lose your passport or it is stolen
If your wallet is stolen and you have no way of securing replacement funds.
If there is a riot outside of your apartment or hotel, or if you find yourself in a situation in which
you feel your personal security has been threatened.
How to Reach International SOS
We recommend you:

membership card in your wallet or
purse.

Download the Assistance App to your
Smartphone
Download the Assistance App
The App is a service benefit available as part of your
membership and provides:
• One-touch dialing to the closest Assistance Center to your location
• Push notifications that show when an alert arrives, even if the app is not
open.
• Country Summary and Alerts about your location
To Download the App:
1. Open your Smartphone’s browser and go to:
app.internationalsos.com
2. Once downloaded, launch the App and login using your
International SOS Membership Number: 11BYSG614750

Complete your Online Emergency Record
Emergency Record gives you a secure place to:

Store your medical history
Input vaccination records in an online repository
Upload important documents such as visas and passports, recent medical
records or prescriptions.
To access Emergency Record, click on the “Emergency Record” button from
the Portal website.
