More Granularity for Circulation Security Profiles
• Our current version of Voyager has limited flexibility for assigning
override capability for item or patron blocks to a circulation security
profile. Operator can either perform all item/patron block overrides
or none.
• Voyager 6.1 allows you to specify which of the 19 item blocks and
the 27 patron blocks an individual operator can override.
• Immediately after the upgrade to V. 6.1, operators will have the
same override capabilities they had in the old version. If you want to
apply more granularity in this area to your circulation security
profiles, you can do that in the System Administration module
following the upgrade.
Click the “Circulation
Profiles” tab on the left
side of the Sys Admin
window, highlight the
profile you wish to
modify, and click the
“Edit” button.
The “Edit Circulation Profile”
dialog box opens. Click on
the “Item Blocks” tab or the
“Patron Blocks” tab to edit the
profile.
Highlight the item blocks on
the left and use the arrow
keys to assign them to the
“Operator May Override”
column on the right. Click
“Save” when finished.

the left and use the arrow
keys to assign them to the
“Operator May Override”
column on the right. Click
“Save” when finished.
