 Sean Brennan
-The Maryland Gazette is an Annapolis based news paper with a relatively
balanced political bias from the contents of the January 30, 1834 issue.
-This issue and paper were chosen because I am from Maryland and
wanted to know about the state in the early 19th century. The year is
random and the date is my birthday.

bulk of the newspapers
news covering two and
one-half of the four pages
provided. Petitions and
prospective initiatives such
as the example on the left
are examples of this.
