THE SOLUTION
• Make the shopping
experience easier.
• Keep track of what’s in the
kitchen and what needs to
be replaced.
• Do so with minimal user
interface as complex
gadgets would not be
easy for memory loss
sufferers to use.
THE ANSWER
• Coloured mats are placed around the kitchen.
• Attach “The list” to the fridge.
• It’s that simple!
• When the Light beside “Milk” comes on the owner
knows that there is no longer any milk in the fridge.
They can even remove the magnetic board and
bring it with them to the shops for maximum ease of
use.
THE COMPETITION
 Very expensive
 Can’t be integrated into a working kitchen
 Can be very technical and difficult to use
THE MAT
• The Mat’s size is based on the bottom of a carton of
milk. This way it’ll fit into the shelf and main body of
a fridge.
• It is coated in liquid latex in order to be both easily
seen and distinguished from the other mats of the
set.
THE LIST
• The List comes in the form of a
whiteboard surface with in built
LEDs. The lights correspond to
the colour of the mats they
match to.
• The list attaches magnetically
to the fridge and can be
removed to be taken to the
shops.

Due to our products not coming in on time we were
unable to test out prototype on users.
