Answer: Description, sequence, comparison/ contrast, cause/effect,
problem/solution
3. Should the writer attempt to persuade with an opinion?
Answer- no! The facts with well developed support are all you need, not your opinions.

Answer: Just like any other well developed paragraph!

Topic Sentence- state a main idea based on fact

Body of Supporting Sentences- provide facts,, examples, or steps in a process
•
Concluding Sentence- summarize the main idea and add a strong ending
3. If I am using information written by someone else, how do I present it without
plagiarizing?
Answer- put the information in quotations, paraphrase, and refer to the source.
