It is our pleasure to invite you and your team to participate in the Open Challenge Cup Kyorugi 2017
which will be held in Tongeren, Belgium.
We hope that You all will enjoy the Championships as well as a great stay in Tongeren, the oldest town
in Belgium. We are looking forward to meet you.
In previous years we have had the great pleasure to welcome teams from: Belgium, Austria, Australie,
Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, Ireland, Serbia, Hungary,
Poland, Luxemburg, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Slovenia, San Marino, United Kingdom, USA.

There is an entry limit in order to provide a high quality championships. The entries will be limited to no
more than 500 entries. If this number has been reached before the deadline, the online registration will be
closed early.
All the competition areas are with full electronic score systems of DAEDO (7 areas of 8x8m).

Licence
Belgian participants must be in possession of a valid taekwondo license 2017 delivered
by one of the regional recognized and subsidized unisport federations that offer WTF
Taekwondo.
Foreign participants must be in possession of a valid license 2017 of a recognized
taekwondo federation that offers WTF taekwondo.

The weight limit will be determined by the criterion of one decimal from the set limit. For
example: not exceeding 24kg is defined as up to 24,0kg and 24,1kg which is defined as being
over the limit. Up until 99 grams over the weight limit is allowed.
Changes of weight classes are allowed before the official weigh-in costing € 15,00 Euro

Coach: for every 5 contestants within the same team, one coach is granted free
admission with a maximum 3 coaches. Only competitors and coaches have admittance
to the competition areas. Coaching is only allowed in sports wear all coaches must be
18 years or older!!!

Liability
All competitors are considered to participate at their own risk. The organisation crew
and the organizer assume no responsibility for any damages, injuries or losses.
Protest
Only the official coach is allowed to protest immediately after the end of the contest.
An amount of € 50,- will have to be paid for each protest. The decision of the referee
chairman is final.
