Start Thunderbird en check via Tools > Options > Privacy the settings of the
option Accept cookies form sites
Start Thunderbird, go to Tools followed by Account Settings and click the
arrow next to Account Actions (bottom left) and click Add Mail Account…

Enter behind Your name: [email protected]
behind E-mail address: [email protected]
Deselect the box in front of Remember password
Click Continue
Click Manual config
Incoming: Select OAuth2 (instead of Normal Password) under Authentication
Outgoing: Select OAuth2 (instead of Normal Password) under Authentication
Click Done

The University login screen appears
Fill in your P-S- or F-number and click Login
Click Allow
Click finally on OK Thunderbirds Account actions screen
