Meet the Teams
Rules
• South Side goes first. Then North Side. Then
Burnside, etc.
• Each team put its desks in a circle.
• Everybody must have their Binder and Study
Guide out.
• Work as a team to find the answers to the
questions.
• All the answers are in your binder.
• Fill out your study guide as we go.
Team Spokesperson
• Each person on your team must take a turn being
the spokesperson for the team.
• The teacher selects first spokesperson for each
group. Then, each time it is your team’s turn it
moves one to the right.
• If you get it right, spokesperson should take the
shot.
• If the spokespersons decides not to shoot, the
replacement shooter may only shoot for a
maximum of two points.
How to Score Points
• If your team gets an answer right, you get a
chance to shoot for points.
• NO BACKBOARD ALLOWED!!
• The trash should be at the front of the room.
• 1 point: closest line of black tape.
• 2 points: halfway back
• 3 points: furthest line of black tape
• 4 points: your back touching the back wall.

There are rights we haven’t thought up yet, so they
might not be in the Constitution.
Example: Right to privacy. It is not in the
Constitution, but the Supreme Court decided that
we have the right nonethelss.

government in the Constitution, then it is
automatically a state right.

let him in.

• Farmer Taylor and Farmer Dorial have been working
hard lately to get the fields read for the summer
harvest. One day, a member of the city council shows
up and tells Taylor and Dorial that they are going to
have to take their land so that the local city can build a
Wal-Mart. The two become angry, this land is where
they have invested most of their money! They then
find out that the city is going to pay them half of the
amount of their land is worth. Although they are
planning a sit-in to protest the city, they were informed
that bulldozers would be on the way to their property
early next week.

Gilmore are the masterminds and perpetraitors
behind the recent bank robberies in the area. After
being arrested, the three demand to see the
evidence and to know who has accused them of
such an absurd crime. The police say that they
cannot meet the witness or see the witness or see
the witness but that they will hold them on the
charges of ban robbery anyways. Even at their trial,
the District Attorney refuses to let them see who
their accuser is.

Louis declares that no one may carry a gun
anymore. They confiscate the ladies’ shot guns
and refuse to give them back. Greatly upset,
the trio decide to sue the city so they can
continue their favorite passtime.

“Plead the 5th, Bruh-Bruh”). The party was amazing and
anyone who’s anyone showed up. A neighbor became
upset that the music was so loud and called the police.
When they showed up, they just asked the boys to turn
the music down a little. The next day, the police
showed up again because the same nosy neighbor had
seen smoke from their smoke machine that they were
using for their performance and thought something
illegal was taking place in the house. The police did not
have a warrant but demanded that they let them come
in.

cannot be an anarchist. Sara is walking home from
school one day and a police officer stops her and tells
her that she cannot wear the “Anarchist 4 Lyfe” shirt
she has on. He handcuffs her and takes her down to
the station where he places her in a cell. They charge
her with a violation of the ordinance. As her
punishment, they tie her up and force her to watch the
new Justin Bieber movie “Never Say Never” on repeat
for two weeks. By the end of her sentence, all Sarah
can mumble is “Baby, baby, baby…oh…” (Hint: there
are two rights being violated in this example).
