• A recipe book is a book with lots of recipes in
it.
• There can be different types:

How can I get Involved?
• Miss Owen will be sending home a letter
asking your family to provide a recipe.
• You can go on our school website & get a copy
to type onto (this will save Miss Owen lots of
time!)
• Then return it to Miss Owen (or email it to
me) and I will put it in the book!

What will ours look like?

Really Chocolatley Homemade
Hot Chocolate
1. Place two mugs on your worksurface.
2. Melt the chocolate buttons and ½ the milk in a pan, on
a low heat.
3. Whisk in the remaining milk
4. Add cinnamon and slowly bring to the boil (taking care
not to let it boil over)
5. Carefully pour the hot chocolate into mugs until it is ¾
full (I use a ladle so I don’t burn myself)
6. Decorate with marshmallows, grated chocolate or
sparkles (or all 3)
7. Sit back…relax….and enjoy. A Pefect treat for a cold
winters night!

240ml of milk
½ teaspoon Cinnamon
Whipped cream
To decorate:
Handful of marshmallows
Grated chocolate
Hundreds & thousands
