• Share of Exports from Andhra Pradesh is around 5 % of India’s total
Export in a FY.
• For consecutively last three years Paid Membership at FIEO AP Chapter is
more or less stagnant at around 600-650 i.e.
– in FY 2011-12 – 623
– in FY 2012-13 – 611
– in FY 2013-14 – 650 is likely to be achieved
• FIEO is aggressive on pursuing to reach 20,000 milestone in membership
• In line with the milestone to be achieved contribution by FIEO AP
Chapter may be equivalent to share of state of AP in India’s Total Exports
i.e. 5 %
– 5 % of 20,000 = 1000 Members
• Otherwise also at the ideal growth of 10 % per year from the FY 2011-12
the membership by FY 2015-16 should be around 1000

• Compilation of Database of Exporters from the State of AP has been
taken up as a continuous process instead of one time task performed on
half yearly or quarterly basis
• ‘New Membership Application Issued Register’ has been put in place
recently for proper records and follow up as per the advice of Regional
Head, FIEO (SR)
• IEC Data for the period of 01-01-2013 to 31-10-2013 has been obtained
recently and is being complied. The compilation is likely to be completed
by 31-12-2013. We will be receiving monthly IEC issued data also and this
will significantly boost new membership mobilisation efforts.
• All out efforts are being made at Chapter office to present FIEO as not
only the RCMC issuing authority but as an organisation that promptly
takes up all the grievances and issues of its members for speedy
resolution. Apart from other services of FIEO, MDA grant is being
explained in detail to new exporters to convince them to take
membership of FIEO.

• FIEO AP Chapter on an average incurs a
monthly administrative expenditure of around
Rs. 35,000/- towards premises rental,
electricity charges, telephone bills, office
stationary etc. and we are making all efforts to
increase our alternative source of income in
form of certificate of origin on sustainable
basis so that in time to come we need not
have to request for imprest fund from FIEO
(SR), Chennai.
