• it 是指代同名原物。如：
I have lost my mobile phone.
I am looking for it.
• one 是泛指同一类但不是同一个事物。如：
I have lost my mobile phone.
I think I need to buy one.
• that 也特指具体的同一类的事物，但不是同一
个。如：
The mobile phone you bought is
cheaper than that I lost.
one,that 大不同
1、one为泛指，相当a/an+名词；that是指
特指，相当于the+名词。如:
A chair made of steel is stronger than one
made of wood.
a chair
The water in the cup is hotter
than that in the pot.
the water
one,that 大不同
2、one只能代替可数名词单数，代替可数名
词复数时要用ones；that既可代替可数名
词单数，也可代替不可数名词，代替可数
名词复数时用those。如：
a) My daughter likes this doll more than
that one.
b) There are many books on history and
some ones on science in the bookcase.
c) The population in China is
much larger than that in the USA.
d) These pictures are beautiful
than those.
one,that 大不同
3、one既可指代物，也可以指代人；that只能代替
事物而不能代替人。有时可以用the one/ the ones
代替that /those。
a) The one/ That on the floor is Lucy’s.
b) He is a teacher, the one who is good with kids.
