Boao, the water town, is located at the east of Qionghai city, Hainan
island, emerges at the meeting points of three famous rivers ,
characterized by rivers, lakes, sea, sandy beaches, mountains, hot
springs.

international organization.

and has a
population of over
10,000. It is Davos达沃

organization, Boao Forum For Asia (BFA) is the most
prestigious and premier forum for leaders in government,
business and academia in Asia and other continents to
share visions on the most pressing issues in this dynamic
region and the world at large. The Forum is committed to
promoting regional economic integration and bringing
Asian countries even closer to their development goals.

History of BFA
BFA Permanent Venue
BFA Permanent Venue is located on the Dongyu Island near the mouth of
Wanquan River to the South China Sea. It integrates modern buildings,
intelligence conference systems, challenging golf course, attracting scenery
and impressive legend. As the permanent venue of Boao Forum for Asia, the
political leaders, industrial and commercial giants, experts and scholars from
all of the Asian countries, gather to do research in the development of Asian
economy every year. More than 260 leaders from all of the world have ever
been in Boao, to attend the BFA Annual Conference every year.

十年历程


走过十年历程，博鳌亚洲论坛在今年的年会中，
无论是主题，议题的位置，还是参与讨论嘉宾
的规格等，都有了全新的突破，博鳌亚洲论坛
的知名度和影响力也在日益扩大。
每年博鳌亚洲论坛年会的主题，都能让人嗅到
当前亚洲各国各地区的时势热点，今年也是如

2002年4月12日至13日，博鳌亚洲论坛举行首届年会，
主题是“新世纪、新挑战、新亚洲-亚洲经济合作与
发展”。此后，论坛每年定期在博鳌召开年会。
博鳌亚洲论坛2003年年会于2003年11月2日至3日举
行，主题是“亚洲寻求共赢：合作促进发展”。
博鳌亚洲论坛2004年年会于2004年4月24日至25日举
行，主题是“亚洲寻求共赢：一个向世界开放的亚
洲”。
博鳌亚洲论坛2005年年会于2005年4月22日至24日举
行，主题是“亚洲寻求共赢：亚洲的新角色”。



博鳌亚洲论坛2006年年会于2006年4月21日至
23日举行，主题是“亚洲寻求共赢：亚洲的新
机会”。
博鳌亚洲论坛2007年年会于2007年4月20日至
22日举行，主题是“亚洲寻求共赢：亚洲制胜
全球经济-创新和可持续发展”。
博鳌亚洲论坛2008年年会于2008年4月11日至
13日举行，主题是“绿色亚洲：在变革中实现
共赢”。



博鳌亚洲论坛2009年年会于2009年4月17日至
19日举行。主题是“经济危机与亚洲：挑战与
展望”。
博鳌亚洲论坛2010年年会于2010年4月9日至
11日举行，主题是“绿色复苏：亚洲可持续发
展的现实选择”。
博鳌亚洲论坛2011年年会于2011年4月14日至
16日举行，主题是“包容性发展：共同议程与
全新挑战”。

economies of the world increased from27% to 35%, the status
of Asia jumped. More Asian countries have won the right to
speak. since these 10 years, Asia has become one of the most

important contributions to economic recovery.



Boao Forum for Asia has played an

Asia's economic growth is not balanced, between rich and
