Four Components of a Measurable Objective:
1. Subject (What is the target or focus?);
2. Behavior (What will be changed/improved?);
3. Assessing improvement, readiness or achievement (What specific criteria
will be used?);
4. Time period (During what period of time will behavior be assessed?)
Example:
1. All grade 3 students will demonstrate a five percent increase on the
Standards of Learning Mathematics Assessment in the Spring of 2016.
