Macbeth is presented as a mature man of definitely established character, successful
in certain fields of activity and enjoying an enviable reputation. We must not conclude,
there, that all his volitions and actions are predictable; Macbeth's character, like any
other man's at a given moment, is what is being made out of potentialities plus
environment, and no one, not even Macbeth himself, can know all his inordinate selflove whose actions are discovered to be-and no doubt have been for a long timedetermined mainly by an inordinate desire for some temporal or mutable good.

Macbeth is shown as an empowered man of well-established character,
prosperous in several fields of life and enjoying an esteemed reputation. We
mustn't conclude, therefore, that all of his volitions and actions will be foreseeable

created out of potentialities and his environment, and no one, not even Macbeth
himself, can discern all his immoderate self-love whose behaviors are found to beand without doubt have been for some time determined primarily by an extreme
desire for a temporal or changeable good.

Shakespeare's famous play, Macbeth, is one of his great
tragedies based around the classic theme of the hero's fatal
flaw. Macbeth is presented as a mature man of definitely

may be from public eye, and hinted at by foreshadow only by

his inordinate self-love whose actions are discovered to be-and no

even, as is usually the case in tragedy, the `ultimate desire of
self-preservation

How Customers Access Turnitin (Integration)
• Evaluate Excel
Excel files can be submitted to Turnitin and the
service will generate an Originality Report based on
the document’s text. A version of the document will
be displayed in the document viewer for viewing
the Originality Report as well as marking, grading,
and peer review.
• Grade Anything℠
Instructors and students can now submit any file type to
Turnitin for grading online or distributing work for peer
review. Submission file types may include PowerPoint®
presentations, spreadsheets, images, html code…
This exciting new feature allows Turnitin to be used by a
broader range of instructors: those who evaluate
presentations or teach in disciplines such as science, math,
economics, and visual arts.
No submission? No problem! Instructors can provide
students with feedback using Turnitin even if there is no
file submitted for the assignment, such as with a musical
recital or dance performance.
What’s new?
• Cloud Submit
Student papers residing as Google Drive™ or
Dropbox files can now be submitted directly to
Turnitin. Work stored in the Google Drive format will
automatically convert to a PDF file as it's submitted
to Turnitin. Files from Google Drive or Dropbox in
the following formats will be accepted in the existing
format: MS Word, WordPerfect, PostScript, PDF,
HTML, RTF, OpenOffice (ODT), Hangul (HWP) and
plain text. This feature is available for single paper
uploads only and may not be accessible to all
integration users.
• Share Papers Within an Institution
Turnitin administrators can now allow instructors to
view source text from a matching student paper
without submitting an instructor request if the
original student paper was submitted at the same
institution. This feature helps instructors access
student papers submitted to an instructor who is no
longer at their school.

• ETS® e-rater®
Turnitin has partnered with Educational Testing
Service to integrate its e-rater grammar analysis tool
within GradeMark, our online markup tool.
The e-rater technology automatically flags grammar,
style, usage, mechanics and spelling errors so
instructors can spend less time correcting and more
time teaching. Instructors can easily edit or remove
individual marks on the student paper or choose to
expose or hide entire categories of feedback. Using
this tool, instructors across the curriculum who do not
typically focus on writing mechanics can still provide
students with guidance and reinforcement on how to
improve their writing skills.
Students can view their marks and access gradeappropriate grammar handbooks that offer feedback
in ten languages.* Additionally, students can view the
ETS e-rater marks simultaneously with feedback from
OriginalityCheck, GradeMark and PeerMark for
deeper insight into their written work.

• Translated Matching:
A Global Approach to Plagiarism
Turnitin OriginalityCheck now features an
innovative, cross-language approach to identify
"translated plagiarism." Translated plagiarism
consists of students taking existing source material
in one language, translating it into the language
used at their institution and misrepresenting it as
their own work. With our new translated matching
capability, international and multi-language schools
can identify unoriginal content that has been
translated from English into other languages.
The beta release of translated matching is offered
in the following language versions of Turnitin:
French, Spanish, German, Dutch, Swedish,
Portuguese and Turkish. Translated matching also
works on submissions in Czech, Danish, Finnish,
Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Polish and Romanian.
