library is closed will not be counted toward fines. There is a 2 day
grace period, but once the book is 3 days overdue, a fine of exactly 15
NT$ will be assessed. If accumulated fines exceed 150 NT$, borrowing

Library notice for article clearance on
occupied seats
Library seats are limited, so please take personal belongings with you when you leave.
Seats being unoccupied for over 30 minutes will be considered “unseated” and left with a
“unseated notice” or “unseated reminder” and are open for public use (with exception of
meal breaks: 11:30-13:30;17:30-19:30).
To justify the fair use of library, librarians will not issue unseated notice or clear articles
from desks during meal breaks. Nor will desk clerks issue request form for “unseated”
seats. Librarians will clear articles from unoccupied seats for public use. Previous
occupants of the seat please take own ID to reclaim personal articles at the circulation
counter on the 8th floor. The library is not liable for storage of the items.
Pursuant to Article 9 of Reader Violation Treatment, use of fraudulent ID, borrowed ID,
or third-party ID constitutes a violation. Person occupying a seat or several seats
