 인용색인 DB : Web of Science, SCOPUS, Google Scholar가 대표적임.
 Web of Science :
 Thomson 회사에서 만든 Database
 SCIE, SSCI, A&HCI 저널을 대상으로 DB화 하고 있음.
• SCIE, SSCI, A&HCI 저널은 Thomson사에서 요구하는 어떤 기준을
만족시키는 저널일 뿐 공식적인 명칭이 아님.


 SCI와 SCIE의 차이점?
• SCI는 CD-ROM Version이거나 Print Version 저널인 반면, SCIE는 Web Version 저널임(요
즘 대부부분의 저널은 web version으로 나오므로 거의 모든 SCI저널은 SCIE 저널에 포함
됨)
• Web에 대한 Infra가 구축이 되어 있지 않은 많은 나라들이 아직도 Print와 CD를 선호하기
때문에 SCI 제도를 폐지하지 않는 것임
• SCI는 3개월 단위로 지속적으로 유지된 저널을 대상으로 평가하여 약 3개월에 1번씩 업
데이트 됨
• SCIE는 Web이기에 실시간으로 저널의 변화를 알 수 있으므로,CCC DB를 통해 제공되는
저널 후보군에서 지속적인 평가를 통해 SCIE로 평가되어져 약 1달에 1번씩 업데이트 됨※
SCI저널이 SCIE 저널보다 반드시 더 우수한 저널이라고 할 수 없음 ※ 현 시점의 SCI, SCIE,
A&HCI 등재 여부 확인 : Master Journal List (http://www.thomsonscientific.com/mjl/)

없는지를 공손하게 제시해야 함. 추가자료 (필요하면 추가 분석이 필요하기
도 함,)를 제시하여 왜 manuscript 에 그런 방향으로 제시할 수 없었던 이유
를 분명하게 보일 필요가 있음.

가끔 reviewer 가 이 분야에 전문가가 아니기도 하고 말이 안 되는 내용을
지적하거나, 분명히 논문에서 언급한 내용을 지적하기도 함. : 참을성을 가
지고 최대한 reviewer가 이해할 수 있도록 답을 하는 것이 중요함.
