places in the world participants
jam together for
48
hours to improve and/or
create (new) services for the public sector by
sharing and brainstorming ideas, translating
these ideas into concepts, creating prototypes
and testing them with users.
WHY
IS THE WORLD JAMMING?
The world is changing and becomes every day more
technologically advanced, complex and globally connected.
As a consequence service has shifted too.
The globalization process is making government, organizations
and individuals rapidly aware that there is a need to rethink what
they are doing.
This heightened sense of urgency and the recent surge in
creativity has led to changes in mindsets and methodologies
around service.

Professor or truck driver, captain of industry,
cleaning lady, high potential, philosophy student,
photographer, city mayor …
You are all welcome provided you are willing to
share your ideas, knowledge and experience, work
closely together and have
48
hours to spare.

We're also hosting the Govjam Brussel and Hasselt, you can also join one of
them! Go to crossroad.be to sign up!
Please bring along your sunny vibes, camera, stationery, pencil, fishing rod,
laptop , life jacket or any other tool that you consider vital to overcome the jam
weekend.
We will provide you with the necessary food, drinks, office equipment, wifi and
a service design toolkit that can help you mapping out new answers.
