The 10th Olympic games took place in Germany.
Jesse Owens was a very fast runner. He came from
America. He wanted to run in the Olympics and win a
medal.

Adolf Hitler was the leader of
Germany. He did not want Jesse to
run.
Hitler said that black people should
not be allowed to do the same
things as white people.
He said black people were not good
at sport like white people.
