Putting It All Together
• Academic planning is a priority-driven
decision tool.
• Good planning is guided by responses to
four key questions.
• Good planning focuses on integrated
choices and a commitment of resources
for chosen priorities.
The end product of strategic planning is not so
much to write a ‘plan’ as it is to change thinking
and introduce a model in which ongoing
decisions are made strategically.
