affordable for home and office users on the island.

Internet Service Provider (ISP) TelNet and equipment
and service supplier Nortel, to launch its brand new
Natternet Service to the St. Maarten public.
With the use of a simple table-top box, Natternet

subscribers will be able to make international calls to
anywhere in the world for as little as $US Gateway
0.20 cents
per minute over a regular land line.
SMITCOMS N.V. says customers using a Natternet box
will receive a special Voice Over Internet Protocol
(VoIP number) with the prefix 548 – 0XXX. The
company says a call via the system to another person
with the same prefix number will get even cheaper
rates of as little as $US 0.15 cents per minute.
