Presently, the individual pledges to attend the majority of

Proposed amendment:
The individual shall attend the majority of meetings of the Board
of Directors, including being physically present at one Board
meeting held in conjunction with a flagship WITSA event,
specifically either the GPATS or WCIT, during the individual’s
single term of office, failure of which will result in ineligibility for
the next term of office. Exceptions, if any, shall only be granted
by the WITSA Chairman.

• Top three barriers to growth of the software industry:
#1 Limited access to venture capital;
#2 Lack of qualified human resources; and
#3 Lack of government procurement of software and IT services.
• The greatest growth potential was seen in:
#1 The export markets (33%),
#2 The vertical industries; banking, mining, health care, etc. (30%),
#3 The government/defense sector (22%).
• The smallest growth potential was seen in the domestic sectors (14%).
