HARDSHIP ALLOWANCE POLICY
1. OBJECTIVE
The objective of this policy is to attract and retain talent in remote locations where
accommodation/housing, schooling, hospital facilities and other basic amenities
are either very minimal or lacking and to mitigate hardship. This allowance will
be treated as compensatory factor for all the above.
2. ELIGIBILITY
2.1 Executives who operate from the following locations will be eligible for the hardship
allowance
a) Category A+
Gemini Distilleries (Tripura) Pvt Ltd
MTM Wines Pvt Ltd. - Arunachal Pradesh
Sovereign Distilley Ltd. Singapur (Sindhanur)
b) Category A
Rosa
Hathidah
Pioneer Distilleries Ltd - Nanded
c) Category B
Assam
Arunachal Pradesh
Manipur
Meghalaya
Mizoram
Nagaland
Tripura
Baddi
Hospet
d) Category C
2.2 The table below will reflect the amount payable for each of the grade in the category
subject to maximum limit specified.

2.3 The hardship allowance will be paid along with the salaries every month by the
payroll division, and the same shall not attract any other benefits.
2.4
If any executive are transferred from the hardship location to any other nonhardship location then the allowance will cease to be paid.
2.5 Any new hire or transferred executive to these location will become eligible for the
hardship allowance.
2.6 If any other facility like accommodation, electricity and transportation are provided
by the company based on genuine reason of the location, such facilities will be
assessed on a case to case basis. This shall also be applicable to other locations
which is not classified under hardship location.
2.7
The hardship allowance payable to the executive after recovery for facilities
provided, will not be less than 50% of the entitlement.
2.8
The hardship location will be reviewed every year, based on developments in the
hardship location on the basis of the criteria on which the hardship location was
originally identified.
