Transcript Transcrime, the Research Centre on Transnational Crime of the
Transcrime, the Research Centre on Transnational Crime of the Università
Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan, is looking for a junior researcher graduated in
Economic and Social Sciences (Master degree) to collaborate to a research
project on the organised crime infiltration in legitimate businesses.
The ideal candidate is expected to have a very good and documented
knowledge of quantitative research methods, strong familiarity with the
most common software for database management (e.g. Excel, Access) and
statistical analysis (e.g., SPSS, Stata), and to be proficient in the data analysis
and elaboration and in drafting reports. Additional knowledge in those areas
covered by the Centre is an asset.
In addition, he/she must have excellent knowledge of both oral and written
English and the ability to successfully work both individually and in team. The
knowledge of a second foreign language is an asset.
The successful candidate will work full time at Transcrime office. The ideal
candidate should be available to start as soon as possible. He/she will have
initially a 3-month fixed-term contract that may be extended (salary according
to experience and skills).
