Towards
Universal
Health
Coverage
A workshop for
dissemination
& reflection
8 February 2016
Today and at global level, there is
consensus that Universal Health
Coverage (UHC) - health for all
without financial hardship - is a
critical contributor to sustainable
development and human wellbeing.
There is less clarity on how UHC can
be reached, especially so in low- and
middle-income countries.
Bangladesh, Cambodia, DR Congo,
Ghana, Kenya, Peru, Senegal,
Tanzania, Thailand and Uganda.
In search of necessary conditions
and best practices for advancing in
UHC, the Institute of Tropical
Medicine’s Unit of Equity & Health
(formerly Health Financing) in 2015
conducted a review on UHC in
Participation to the workshop is on
invitation. We invite you to register no
later than February 4th, at

The aim of this workshop is to share
and discuss the lessons learnt from

development.
