Education
2013 – 2015
Master in Graphic Design
AKV St. Joost, Breda
Goal of study: besides further
developing my design skills, I aimed
to make a connection with my background as a social scientist. This led
to socially engaged projects that
share my wonder of how we collectively make meaning of the world.
Graduation project: in the second
year of my master I focused on news
coverage, or more specifically: how
journalists translate events into
newspaper articles. This resulted in
True story?: a prototype of a newsapp that collects different coverage
on single events. The goal was to
demonstrate the power of word and
image choice. www.true-story.nl
