INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION “PITTALUGA JUNIOR”
Special edition for young Talents

Cash Prize amount: 1500.00 euro
First Prize : 500 € plus a recital organized by the Michele Pittaluga Competition, Diploma
and Medal
Expenses refund and qualifying Diploma for selected contestants.
Attendance certificate for all competitors.
RULES
1. The contest will be held on the 26th September 2014 at the Main Hall of the
Conservatorio di Musica A. Vivaldi , Via Parma 1, Alessandria. Soloists of all
nationalities are welcome to enroll.
Age limit: born after 1st January 1998
The Pittaluga Junior program requirements: free choice program of 10 minutes
length.
2. The International Jury will consist of a maximum of five members of different
nationalities with an established reputation in the music world.
3. The judgments of the Jury will take into account the quality and the difficulty
of the works played and, in case of transcriptions, the quality of the selected
transcriptions.
4. The competition will accept a maximum of 25 contestants. The first 25 enrolled
competitors will ensure their participation after receiving the confirmation of
the organizers. Only then, the competitors can pay the enrollment fee.

5. Applications must be sent within 30 July 2014, last day of application.
6. All the performances will be open to the public .
7. Enrollment fee: € 100 (one hundred Euros) net, can be paid: (Only after receiving

8. The enrolment fee is non-refundable Application to participate in the competition
implies that the contestants unconditionally accept all of the rules and regulations
currently established. In case of any disagreement or difference of opinion
concerning the rules, the only valid text will be the original in the Italian language.
