De houtbewerkingsgereedschappen afgebeeld in deze catalogus getuigen van een opmerkelijke
technische en funktionele ontwikkeling van freesgereedschap, welke geheel conform is aan de
Europese regelgeving EN 847 - 1 van kracht sinds 1997.
Deze regelgeving is er vooral op gericht de mate van veiligheid van het gereedschap te verhogen en
zodoende de mogelijkheid op, of eventueel de ernst van ongelukken bij gebruik te reduceren.
Getuige de overeenstemming van hun gereedschappen met de norm EN 847 - 1 wordt door OMAS
impliciet verzekerd dat het voldoet aan de volgende eisen:
- VEILIGHEIDVOORSCHRIFTEN
a) Veiligheidsfaktor = 4 voor die gereedschappen, welke met toerental < 12.000 worden gemerkt.
b) Veiligheidsfaktor = 2.25 voor die gereedschappen, welke met toerental
12.000 worden gemerkt.
c) Blokkering door middel van druk bij messen van schaafkoppen bij mechanische aanvoer.
d) Blokkering door middel van vormgeving bij alle andere messen.
- BALANS - TOLERANTIES
a) Voor belegde frezen : G 16
b) Voor frezen met wisselmessen en voor samengestelde sets : G 40
- GEREEDSCHAP VOOR HANDAANVOER MAN
Beperking van de afstand tussen snijtand en spaanbegrenzer en van de afstand van het mes ten
opzichte van de freesbody.
Terugslagfaktor Vr / Vc ten opzichte van het profiel, niet hoger dan:
a) 0.25 bij een maximale snijafstand van 1.1 mm bij rondvormige of niet rondvormige gereedschappen.
b) 0.20 bij een maximale snijafstand van 2 mm bij rondvormige gereedschappen.
c) 0.15 bij een maximale snijafstand van 3 mm bij rondvormige gereedschappen.
- GEREEDSCHAP VOOR MECHANISCHE AANVOER MEC
Hiervoor gelden de algemene veiligheidsvoorschriften voor gereedschappen, die vooral betrekking
hebben op de verhoudingen tussen snijafstand van het mes ten opzichte van de freesbody en de
maximale profieldiepte van het mes ten opzichte van de totale breedte van het mes.
De standaard kwaliteit welke de OMAS gereedschappen kenmerkt, verzekert de gebruiker van een
hoog rendement gekoppeld aan strikte naleving van de veiligheidsvoorschriften en biedt de verkopers
de gelegenheid zich ervan bewust te zijn gereedschappen te verkopen die voldoen aan de geldende
regelgeving.
