Load Instrument Truck Truck and instrument rental is included in the package price of this trip. Drivers will need to be supplied by the school. Airport Check-in Arrive at the airport and receive your boarding pass. Then go with staff members and your MTC Tour Director through security. Arrive in LA Welcome to sunny California! Collect your luggage and board the motor coaches. Itinerary: May, 26, 2016 California Adventure California is a place where fun and adventure are a way of life, and the same is true of Disney’s new California Adventure theme park. Lunch in the Park A Disney Meal Card will be provided for lunch in the park. Band & Orchestra Disney Workshops In Disney Performing Arts OnStage Performance Workshops, the world of the Disneyland entertainer comes to life for students in the innovative hands-on sessions. The workshops provide an inside look at the magic behind the productions that have thrilled millions at the Disneyland Resort. Itinerary: May, 26, 2016 Dinner in the Park A Disney Meal Card will be provided for dinner in the park. Hotel Check-in Once you arrive at your hotel, unload the luggage from underneath your charter coach. One person from each room may get the keys for your room from your Tour Director. After you have given your roommates their room keys, you may proceed to your room. Be sure to take your luggage and all of your personal items off the coach. Lunch in the Park A meal card will be provided for lunch in the park Marching Band Performance Meet as a group and prepare for your performance in this afternoon's parade through the park. Itinerary: May, 27, 2016 Dinner in the Park A meal card will be provided for dinner in the park Meet as a group Meet the group at the designated location at the plaza in between Disneyland and California Adventure. Then, wait for further instructions. Return to the Hotel Return to the hotel after a full day in the park. Itinerary: May, 28, 2016 Breakfast at the hotel Eat breakfast at the hotel before leaving the hotel. The Grove The Grove is an outdoor retail marketplace and entertainment complex adjacent to Farmer's Market. The complex fills space previously occupied by a 19th-century orchard and nursery. Enjoy some free time for souvenir shopping. Itinerary: May, 28, 2016 Lunch at the Farmer’s Market Launched in 1934, Farmers Market became the central meeting place for Angelenos. Today, “Meet me at 3rd and Fairfax” is one of the most common phrases in southern California. According to the L.A. Times, Farmers Market is the #1 place in L.A. to spot celebrities! The market features nearly 100 shops and eateries and its 1941 clock tower is now a world-famous icon. Orchestra Performance This afternoon, the orchestra will perform near the farmer’s market. Guided Hollywood Tour Drive through the posh Beverly Hills and Bel-Air Estates areas, famous Rodeo Drive, see Mann’s Chinese Theater. Griffith Observatory Located on the southern slope of Mount Hollywood, the observatory commands a spectacular view of the Los Angeles basin below. Nearly two million people each year enjoy the view from its balconies, especially at night. Venice Beach This famous beach is an eclectic and funky place where artists and sidewalk vendors line the boardwalk and unique street performers entertain the passing crowds. It seats 2,265 people and serves, among other purposes, as the home of the Los Angeles Philharmonic orchestra and the Los Angeles Master Chorale. Lillian Disney made an initial gift of $50 million in 1987 to build a performance venue as a gift to the people of Los Angeles and a tribute to Walt Disney's devotion to the arts and to the city. Child = A family member who is not a Student. Chaperone = Adult with Chaperoning responsibility. Adult = Adult without Chaperoning responsibility. IMPORTANT: To complete each registration you must accept the Tour Participant Agreement. Step 5: Manage Your Account After you have entered all of your travelers you are ready to manage your online account. This is also the starting point the next time you login to your account.
