Sept. 7-14 : test bench for DAQ/Trigger logic setup. Sept. 20 : Remove USHIWAKA magnet and cleanup p2 area Sept. 21-24 Set the solenoid magnet investigate fiber mapping on the 4th station of tracker Install the tracker Install TOF, ACC and beam counters. Sept. 27 : Accelerator tuning started Sept. 28 – Oct. 1 : Started setting VLPC, checking pedestal, test charge injection Cryostat commissioning Keep cooling until Oct. 7 TOF calibration run, ACC calibration run and beam survay in the nights. Oct. 2-3 : VLPC system commissioning. Timing tuning for LED on VLPC. Oct. 3 : Waveguides were plugged on VLPC cassette. Oct. 4-5 : Timing tuning on VLPC trigger for beam Oct. 6 – Oct. 7 : Stable data taking. 5pm on Oct. 7 : data taking ended. immediate removal of all equipment in the experimental area. End-Run party at Sutamina-TARO: buffet of meat, SUSHI, and many kinds of food. 2005/10/22 MICE CM at RAL, Tracker Parallel, Makoto Yoshida 7 DATA Set Magnet ON / OFF Beam momentum 2005/10/22 3 GeV/c 0.25 – 0.4 GeV/c Rotation 1 Tesla solenoid 0 / 3 deg. / 6 deg. Al target just upstream tracker to produce multi-track MICE CM at RAL, Tracker Parallel, Makoto Yoshida 8 Summary KEK-PS T585 has been performed successfully by world-wide collaboration, to check basic property of the SciFi tracker in 1-Tesla magnetic field. The information of T585 has been collected in the web page http://133.1.141.121/~yoshida/MICE/T585/index.html geometry, run summary table, DAQ, fiber mapping, VLPC LED calibration and analysis many thanks to A. Horikoshi to provide geometry information, LED calibration results, run summary and so on. Analysis is on-going Beam counters LED calibration on all the VLPC channels Mapping / Alignment Tracking ability check A. Horikoshi will report on beam counters H.
