Step1. Click Patients tab
Step2. Search for patient
ie Type patient’s last name or room #

Step4. Click on the blue patient name box to select your patient.
After the initial request is placed, the view transport screen will
display list of transports and status for that patient
An “add patient request” button will appear – click to open up
the request patient transport screen.

Step5 Specify Origin & Destination –
Click on magnifying glass icon to search for origin or destination or
select from recent or favorites
If searching Type location name
Click to check all locations -This prevents you from having
to scroll down the list.
Click to Search & click to select unit/ bed

Step6. Specify mode of travel & isolation via dropdown lists
Step 7. Specify status - Pend for transport now or Appointment to
specify date/ time

Step 8. Specify travel requirements – click to select items in available
list and click right arrow to place in selected box.
Step9. Click Save- review request & click close.
FYI…..The O/R, ED, GI Lab, Radiation Oncology, Cath Lab (M-Funtil5pm) will continue
to have their own transport staff, DO NOT enter requests in Teletracking . Cath Lab
after 5pm Mon. – Frid., you will have to enter requests in Teletracking.
Continue to do Medipac transfers and discharges – there is not a connection between
Teletracking and Medipac.

Instead of using HEO/ WIZ to request patient
transport, a new application (Teletracking) will be
used to enter request s for patient transport . This
impacts both VUH & VCH.
