Systematic Charter
The response to this question has been negative from all the
employees as the organization is yet to formulate an IP
Policy.
2
What & When to Protect –
The employees seem to have the most awareness in
Patents & Designs with an average rating of 6 and the least
knowledge of Trade secrets.
A patent cannot be obtained once the contents of the
application have been disclosed in the public domain. 40 %
of the respondents were aware of the fact.

Employees opine that Patents, Designs, Trademarks and
Confidentiality Agreements are most important to their
business.
They believe that complexity of design, secrecy and lead
time over competitors is of maximum strategic importance to
their customers.
4
Valaution of IP
The respondents feel that due to the high costs incurred for
registering IP assets the company has not registered its IP.
Till date they have not felt the need for protection.
