NEA what it is? based in PARIS 28 members (not same as the OECD 33) 65 staff , 10.4 M€ budget per year The NEA activities Nuclear safety and regulations Nuclear energy development Nuclear law and liability Nuclear Science Information and Communication Radioactive waste management International center of reference for basic nuclear tools (comp. programs and nuclear data) Provide the instruments to the DB members (22 countries) Horizontal work with NEA sections for data storage and sharing Separate Agreement with IAEA to provide services to non members (with some restrictions) Separate Agreement to exchange programs with US and Canada How to improve the computational tools? Reactor Phys. Experiment) database project. Brazil, P.R. China, Russian Federation and South Africa • Uncertainty analysis in Modeling. Coupling of neutron-thermalhydraulics in transient analysis (RF and SA) • IFPE (Int. Fuel. Perf. Exper.) data collection is done in the Data Bank. Collaboration with FUMEX IAEA project.
