• Congress has two parts: House of
Representatives and the Senate.
• Each of the 50 states sends 2 people to the
Senate, so there are 100 senators.
• Each state has equal representation in the
Senate.
• Senators can only serve six years.
• Senators must be 30 years old and a U.S.
citizen.
• Senators must live in the state that they are
representing.
House of Representatives
• There is a total of 435 members in the House.
• Each member represents an area of the state.
• To be a member of the U.S. Supreme Court
you must be at least 25 years old.
Judicial Branch
• The Judicial Branch is made up of the court
system.
• The Supreme Court is the highest.
