countries and regions e.g. S.A.
Examples of possible critical outcome gaps needing filling by 2012 :
Need for input for WHO report of OH in PHC
How to benefit of the work of others in developing strategy and programs on
OH : dissemination and sharing good practices ! How to do ?
How to create necessary tools and toolkits to build-up and integrate OH in
PHC, how do we measure outcome and coverage? What are indicators of
success (various possibilities: coverage, health outcomes etc) ?
Cross-links with Public HC and labor inspection, including workers and
employers; bringing together ministries of Health and Labor (mediating)
Funding of projects
Financial models for BOHS - OHS
Adequate policy and technical consultations
Starting-developing making OH in PHC more visible en empowering by
networking
Rehabilitation is missing as activity of OHS
Combining countries in development of policy e.g. S.E.E.
How to develop social security models for middle income countries e.g. for
early rehabilitation
How can we work together better :
toolkit tailor-madde for BOHS e.g. needs assessment tools
(ICOH will help)
there is is a need for a permanent platform (task force ?) for
communication – dissemination on BOSH, a.o. realizing that
national systems in industrialized countries evolve and may
be not in all aspects relevant for BOHS, sharing good
practices, learning materials, evaluation models, etc.
