Article 1
establishes the LEGISLATIVE BRANCH
of government, Congress, which includes
the House of Representatives and the
Senate.

creates the EXECUTIVE BRANCH of
the government, comprising the
President and other executive officers.

establishes the JUDICIAL BRANCH of
the federal (national) government.
