What is D2L?
• Commonly referred to as a Learning
Management System or LMS
• D2L is used for most online courses at
Austin Peay
• Desire2Learn (D2L) is where your online
courses live
• There are 3 types of online courses
• Enhanced
The students and instructor still meet in the
classroom for lecture, but use D2L for
supplementary materials.
• Hybrid
The classroom is only used part of the time for
instruction, D2L is used the other.
• Fully Online
These classes are designated by a “W” on the
section name. There is no classroom meeting time,
all instruction occurs through D2L.

Use Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome
Submit course work using MS Office compatible
formats.
