• If you want to make a change that will
affect the entire presentation such as layout
or font, then you make that change on the
master
• Go to “View” and “Master” which gives
you three choices
– Slide
– Handouts
– Notes
Master Pages
• Most of the time you will need to go to the
slide master, this is where you can change
the font, background, etc.
• There is a master for the title slide and a
separate master for the rest of the slides in
the presentation

• Use this procedure when you want to send your
notes, handouts, or outline to Microsoft Word
before you print.
• With your presentation open in Microsoft
PowerPoint, on the File menu, point to Send To,
and then click Microsoft Word.
• Do one of the following:
– To send notes, click either the Notes next to slides or
Notes below slides check box.
– To send handouts, click either Blank lines next to
slides or Blank lines below slides check box.
– To send an outline, click Outline only.

• Click Summary Slide button
