Click on “View CCRPI Reports Here” Richard Woods, Georgia’s School Superintendent “Educating Georgia’s Future” gadoe.org 2. Select “Cohort Graduation Rate Data by SG” 3. Filter by ELs! 11/6/2015 8 ACCESS Match Rate Richard Woods, Georgia’s School Superintendent “Educating Georgia’s Future” gadoe.org • ACCESS tests are matched to students using GTID • *NEW FOR 2016 ACCESS*: A GTID NOT PLACED in “State Student ID” field will result in a mis-matched test! (Meaning, a student will appear as though he did not take the test.) • Consequences of an incorrect or misplaced GTID: • EL will not contribute to language growth points on CCRPI • Data will not populate properly in SLDS • EL will not contribute to AMAO 1 or AMAO 2 • 100% ACCESS-match rate will be compromised; may result in Title III finding • Last year, 14 LEAs miscoded 100% of their tests, 1 LEA miscoded 90% and another 88%. 11/6/2015 9 Dual Language Model Richard Woods, Georgia’s School Superintendent “Educating Georgia’s Future” gadoe.org • Introduced at the June 11 State Board of Education meeting. • If approved in July, would add the “Dual Language Model” as an additional ESOL delivery option, earning FTE. • This model would require the teacher instructing during the English part of the dual language day to possess the ESOL endorsement/certificate and to utilize ESOL pedagogy in his/her daily lessons to the class. • This model has a strong basis in research (Collier & Thomas, 2004), facilitates class scheduling for DLLs and relieves districts of the requirement to apply to the state for approval of an Innovative Model. 11/6/2015 10 Houston County forms (some nice documents you may find useful!)
