
I have more candles on my
birthday cake than you do.

My “age” determines whether I’m
eligible for specific discounts or


I can’t drive

I can’t stay in my own house

My family can usurp my rights
and make decisions for me

I have to put up with disrespectful

Caring for Vulnerable Adults

Being a vulnerable adult means, I need:
 Assistance to be as independent and safe as
possible based on my current medical condition
 Assistance to perform tasks
 Help finding products and services (resources)
 PATIENCE, because I need more time to think
through decisions or put my coat on
 Support to maintain my dignity
 Financial assistance
