Luke 18:35

As Jesus was approaching Jericho, a blind man was sitting by the road begging.

Luke 18:36

Now hearing a crowd going by, he

began

to inquire what this was.

They told him that Nazareth was passing by.

And he called out, saying, Son of David, have mercy on “Jesus, me!”

Luke 18:39

Those who led the way were sternly telling him to be quiet; but he kept crying out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”

And Jesus stopped and commanded that he be brought to Him; and when he came near, He questioned him, 41 “What do you want Me to do for you?” And he said, “Lord,

want

to regain my sight!”

Luke 18:42-43

And Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has made you well.

” 43 Immediately he regained his sight and

began

following Him, glorifying God; and when all the people saw it, they gave praise to God.

Luke 19:1-2

He entered Jericho and was passing through.

2 And there was a man called by the name of Zaccheus; he was a chief tax collector and he was rich.

Luke 19:3

Zaccheus was trying to see who Jesus was, and was unable because of the crowd, for he was small in stature.

Luke 19:4

So he ran on ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree in order to see Him, for He was about to pass through that way.

Luke 19:5-6

When Jesus came to the place, He looked up and said to him, “Zaccheus, hurry and come down, for today I must stay at your house.

” 6 And he hurried and came down and received Him gladly.

Luke 19:7

When they saw it, they all

began

to grumble, saying, “He has gone to be the guest of a man who is a sinner.

”

Luke 19:8

Lord, Zaccheus stopped and said to the “Behold, Lord, half of my possessions I will give to the poor, and if I have defrauded anyone of anything, I will give back four times as much.

”

Luke 19:9-10

And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because he, too, is a son of Abraham.

10 For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.

”

Luke 19:28

After He had said these things, He was going on ahead, going up to Jerusalem.

When He approached Bethphage and Bethany, near the mount that is called Olivet …

; there, as you enter, you will find a colt tied on which no one yet has ever sat; untie it and bring it need of it.

Luke 19:32-35

So those who were sent went away and found it just as He had told them.

33 As they were owners said to them, you untying the colt?” “Why are 34 They said, untying the colt, its “The Lord has need of it.” 35 They brought it to Jesus, and they threw their coats on the colt and put Jesus

on it

Luke 19:36

As He was going, they were spreading their coats on the road.

Luke 19:37-38

As soon as He was approaching, near the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of the disciples began to praise God joyfully with a loud voice for all the miracles which they had seen, 38 shouting: “Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord; peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”

Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the LORD; We have blessed you from the house of the LORD. (Psalm 118:26).

When He approached

Jerusalem

, He saw the city and wept over it, saying, 42 “If you had known in this day, even you, the things which make for peace! But now they have been hidden from your eyes.

”

Luke 19:43-44

“For the days will come upon you when your enemies will throw up a barricade against you, and surround you and hem you in on every side, 44 and they will level you to the ground and your children within you, and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not recognize the time of your visitation.

”

As He passed by, He saw a man blind from birth. 2 And His disciples asked Him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he would be born blind?” (John 9:1-2).

Jesus answered, “It was neither that this man sinned, nor his parents; but it was so that the works of God might be displayed in him.” (John 9:3).

When He had said this, He spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and applied the clay to his eyes, 7 and said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which is translated, Sent). So he went away and washed, and came back seeing. (John 9:6-7).

Now there is in Jerusalem by the sheep

a pool, which is called in Hebrew Bethesda, having five porticoes (John 5:2)

In these lay a multitude of those who were sick, blind, lame, and withered (John 5:3)

And a certain man was there, who had been thirty-eight years in his sickness. time 6 When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he had already been a long

in that condition

, He said to him, "Do you wish to get well?" (John 5:5-6)

The sick man answered Him, "Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up, but while I am coming, another steps down before me." (John 5:7)

Jesus said to him, "Arise, take up your pallet, and walk."

9 And immediately the man became well, and took up his pallet and to walk (John 5:8-9).

And Jesus entered the temple and drove out all those who were buying and selling in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who were selling doves. (Matthew 21:12).

And He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer’; but you are making it a robber’s den.” (Matthew 21:13).
