I learned a lot and you made me feel that I never took such a long break. Tailored to the online community I like the fact that lectures seemed tailored to the online community. I think it showed great consideration to the online community, and recognized the fact that the distractions facing online students and on campus students vary. I hope other courses follow suit. Sad to leave… Go Gators!!! Sadly, my time at UF is drawing to a close. I really enjoyed my time as a student. For the past 3 or so years, I did nothing but give it my best. It has become my routine: working, going home, logging on, etc. I will truly miss being a student, and must see what the future has planned for me. Either way, UF will always hold a special place in my heart...Go Gators!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ufonline.ufl.edu Recent UF Online Graduate Lisa Zagnoli ◦ College of Business graduate, Spring 2014 ◦ Single mom ◦ Works full-time for Wells Fargo ◦ Entrepreneur http://lisazagnoli.com ufonline.ufl.edu Financial Performance Greg Dubois Office of the Chief Financial Officer ufonline.ufl.edu Actual FY 2014 Actual vs Budget Tuition: In-State Out of State Less: Waivers & Financial Aid Fee Fees: Technology Fee Capital Improvement Trust Fund Fee Financial Aid Fee State Subsidy Total Revenue Non-Recurring Expenses: Initial Production Upgrades Production Equipment Enrollment Management & Marketing Student Services Technology Facilities' Debt Service Overhead Total Non-recurring costs Recurring Costs: Delivery Enrollment Management & Marketing Direct Administration P3 Services Overhead Technology Facilities' Operations Library Student Services Total Recurring Costs Budget Variance 905,539 42,236 (57,969) 114,840 159,120 (7,352) 790,699 (116,884) (50,617) 45,229 57,029 45,229 15,000,000 16,037,293 7,352 9,467 7,352 15,000,000 15,290,779 37,877 47,562 37,877 746,514 1,155,906 1,044,000 (111,906) 58,007 677,732 2,317 209,100 500,000 600,000 400,000 1,000,000 441,993 (77,732) 397,683 790,900 2,103,062 189,274 3,733,274 189,274 1,630,212 597,041 5,642,973 650,771 449,169 520,000 3,641,408 81,836 1,197,471 34,318 17,984 31,678 6,624,635 4,037 359,035 (37,579) (87,131) 81,836 1,174,525 34,318 17,984 (565,363) 981,662 Total Cost 7,746,035 10,357,909 2,611,874 Net Margin 8,291,258 4,932,870 3,358,388 646,734 90,134 557,579 3,728,539 22,946 ufonline.ufl.edu FY 2015 Actual & Projected vs Budget Actual YTD Projected YE Budget Variance Tuition: In-State 833,249 3,266,357 1,137,375 2,128,982 Out of State 144,372 1,340,687 1,621,035 (280,348) Less: Waivers & Financial Aid Fee (88,335) (338,121) (73,102) (265,019) Technology Fee 42,284 169,155 73,102 96,053 Capital Improvement Trust Fund Fee 54,445 206,208 94,128 112,080 Financial Aid Fee 73,609 269,471 73,102 196,369 5,000,000 5,000,000 5,000,000 6,059,624 9,913,757 7,925,640 1,988,117 611,309 2,884,005 3,132,000 247,995 247,699 2,302,340 3,420,000 1,117,660 84,288 224,060 794,169 570,109 254,076 606,597 520,000 (86,597) 1,117,308 2,922,765 3,427,571 504,806 24,832 24,832 528,631 503,799 105,589 870,281 1,341,443 471,162 122,548 122,548 68,902 68,902 Fees: State Subsidy Total Revenue Production Delivery Enrollment Management & Marketing Direct Administration P3 Services Overhead Technology Facilities' Operations Library Student Services 355,025 630,444 121,368 (509,076) Total Expenses 2,800,126 10,465,324 13,476,632 3,011,308 Net Margin 3,259,498 (551,567) (5,550,992) 4,999,425 ufonline.ufl.edu Online Learning Institute Using research to make learning in online/virtual spaces the best it can be ufonline.ufl.edu The team so far Carole R.
