The Act of Trashing
To trash something is to, first,
consider it worthless. Then it is
to dispose of it to where it will
not be present. We trash our
garbage. We want it away from
us and out of our world! In
effect, we deny it, disown it, and
repudiate it.
The Act of Trashing
Many trash the word of God, they do not want it,
deny it, and repudiate it.
“19: Holding faith, and a good conscience; which
some having put away concerning faith have
made shipwreck” (I Tim. 1).
“3: He is despised and rejected of men; a man of
sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as
it were our faces from him; he was despised, and
we esteemed him not” (Isa. 53).

Can fall from
grace
The Act of Trashing
“4: Christ is become of no effect unto you,
whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are
fallen from grace” (Gal. 5).
“21: For it had been better for them not to have
known the way of righteousness, than, after they
have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. 22: But it is happened
unto them according to the true proverb, The dog
is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that
was washed to her wallowing in the mire” (2 Pet.
2).

“13: For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one
body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether
we be bond or free; and have been all made to
drink into one Spirit” (I Cor. 12).

“17: For this cause have I sent unto you
Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful in
the Lord, who shall bring you into remembrance
of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every

“18: Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.
19: When any one heareth the word of the
kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh
the wicked one, and catcheth away that which
was sown in his heart. This is he which received
seed by the way side. 20: But he that received the
seed into stony places, the same is he that
heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it”
(Matt. 13).

“17: But God be thanked, that ye were the
servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the
heart that form of doctrine which was delivered
you. 18: Being then made free from sin, ye
became the servants of righteousness” (Rom. 6).
