Psalm 139
Psalm 139:1 For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of
David. O LORD, You have searched me and known
me. 2 You know my sitting down and my rising
up; You understand my thought afar off. 3 You
comprehend my path and my lying down, And are
acquainted with all my ways. 4 For there is not a
word on my tongue, But behold, O LORD, You
know it altogether. 5 You have hedged me
behind and before, And laid Your hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; It is
high, I cannot attain it.
2 Corinthians 10:5 bringing every thought into
captivity to the obedience of Christ,
Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this
world, but be transformed by the renewing of
your mind, that you may prove what is that good
and acceptable and perfect will of God.
The infinite knowledge of God not only
comprehends every thing, great and small,
whether animate or inanimate, material or
immaterial, throughout the immensity of space,
but also throughout the infinite periods of
duration. All things, past and future, are just as
clearly seen, and as fully comprehended, by the
omniscient of God, as the plainest events of the
present.
Psalm 147:5 Great is our Lord, and mighty in
power; His understanding is infinite.
1 Chronicles 28:9 " As for you, my son Solomon,
know the God of your father, and serve Him with
a loyal heart and with a willing mind; for the
LORD searches all hearts and understands all the
intent of the thoughts.
Proverbs 5:21 For the ways of man are before the
eyes of the LORD, And He ponders all his paths.
Proverbs 15:3 The eyes of the LORD are in every
place, Keeping watch on the evil and the good.
Jeremiah 32:19 'You are great in counsel and
mighty in work, for your eyes are open to all the
ways of the sons of men, to give everyone
according to his ways and according to the fruit
of his doings.
Hebrews 4:13 And there is no creature hidden
from His sight, but all things are naked and open
to the eyes of Him to whom we must give
account.
Psalm 139:7 Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or
where can I flee from Your presence? 8 If I
ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my
bed in hell, behold, You are there. 9 If I take the
wings of the morning, And dwell in the uttermost
parts of the sea, 10 Even there Your hand shall
lead me, And Your right hand shall hold me. 11 If
I say, "Surely the darkness shall fall on me," Even
the night shall be light about me; 12 Indeed, the
darkness shall not hide from You, But the night
shines as the day; The darkness and the light are
both alike to You.
Jeremiah 23:23 " Am I a God near at hand," says
the LORD, "And not a God afar off? 24 Can
anyone hide himself in secret places, So I shall
not see him?" says the LORD; "Do I not fill
heaven and earth?" says the LORD.
Jonah 1:3 But Jonah arose to flee to Tarshish
from the presence of the LORD. He went down to
Joppa, and found a ship going to Tarshish; so he
paid the fare, and went down into it, to go with
them to Tarshish from the presence of the LORD.
Psalm 139:13 For You formed my inward parts;
You covered me in my mother's womb. 14 I will
praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully
made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my
soul knows very well.
Dr Stubblefield said:
that each cell at the moment of conception is
supplied with a library of one quarter of a million
words commanding that cell exactly how many
times to multiply, and when to die. That is the
reason one's nose is not as long as that of an
elephant! In view of this knowledge, and it is
only beginning to be unraveled and deciphered,
one must admit that the words that stand at the
head of these two paragraphs in Ps. 139:14 are
the greatest understatement on earth.
15 My frame was not hidden from You, When I
was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the
lowest parts of the earth. 16 Your eyes saw my
substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book
they all were written, The days fashioned for me,
When as yet there were none of them
Gabriel:
Luke 1:37 "For with God nothing will be
impossible."
Job:
Job 42:2 "I know that You can do everything, And
that no purpose of Yours can be withheld from
You.
Jeremiah:
Jeremiah 32:17 'Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, You have
made the heavens and the earth by Your great
power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too
hard for You.
17 How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O
God! How great is the sum of them! 18 If I
should count them, they would be more in
number than the sand; When I awake, I am still
with You.
Psalm 8:4 What is man that You are mindful of
him, And the son of man that You visit him?
Psalm 139:19 Oh, that You would slay the
wicked, O God! Depart from me, therefore, you
bloodthirsty men. 20 For they speak against You
wickedly; Your enemies take Your name in vain.
21 Do I not hate them, O LORD, who hate You?
And do I not loathe those who rise up against
You? 22 I hate them with perfect hatred; I count
them my enemies.
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try
me, and know my anxieties; 24 And see if there
is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way
everlasting.
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all your
heart, And lean not on your own understanding;
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall
direct your paths. 7 Do not be wise in your own
eyes; Fear the LORD and depart from evil. 8 It
will be health to your flesh, And strength to your
bones.
