Friday Sermon Slides June 25th 2010 Martyrs of Lahore NOTE: Al Islam Team takes full responsibility for any errors or miscommunication in this Synopsis of the Friday Sermon Hudhur ( aba) said with the grace of Allah Almighty Jalsa Salana Germany was being inaugurated with his sermon and thanked Allah Almighty for this Hudhur (aba) prayed that May • Allah blesses this Jalsa in every way • This Jalsa refreshes our faith and give it a new life Hudhur (aba) advised • To always remember the purpose for which the Promised Messiah ( on whom be peace) has set up the system of Jalsa Salana • We can only benefit from this Jalsa if we are mindful of its aims and purpose The aims of Jalsa Salana • To comprehend the true meaning of Bai’at and increase in faith • To make the love of Allah and the Holy Prophet ( pbuh) take precedence over all other worldly loves • To increase in acts of virtuousness • To Increase religious knowledge and understanding • To develop a bond of brotherhood and love with each other and increase this • To pray for brothers who have passed away from this world while fulfilling their covenant of Bai’at June 25TH 2010 The conditions for Pakistani Ahmadis are particularly difficult, opponent have been given a freehand to do whatever they like Hudhur (aba) said that he would want us to try to improve our spiritual standing Hudhur (aba) said that we should pray to achieve this as well Hudhur ( aba) said to pray that Allah Almighty keeps every Ahmadi in every part of the world in His protection. Especially pray for Pakistani Ahmadis Special prayers May Allah grant steadfastness to Pakistani Ahmadis, strengthen their faith, protect them from all evils and accepting their sacrifice show outstanding and distinguished signs Hudhur (aba) drew attention to some administrative matters related to Jalsa Salana The management of Jalsa Salana is run by volunteers from all walks of life who dedicate their time and efforts to serve the guests of the Promised Messiah ( on whom be peace) With the grace of Allah, generally these volunteers carry out these duties selflessly only for the sake of Allah Hudhur ( aba) urged the participants to show complete cooperation with the workers and follow rules and regulations devised for the smooth running of Jalsa Salana Hudhur( aba) advised to show complete obedience to the duty holders and not to get upset at their request or take offence. Workers should be most polite and mannerly June 25TH 2010 Hudhur (aba) advised to stay particularly focused on the security of the event and to remain alert and aware of the surroundings Opponents can gain entry in the Jalsa Salana despite all security arrangements in order to create disruption and mayhem Hudhur ( aba) said to show complete cooperation with the security staff, let them do a security check if asked for the 10th time. Hudhur (aba) explained that this is for your own safety therefore this should not be made into a matter of ego Guest are only allowed to enter after security clearance Jalsa Salana and security Hudhur ( aba) prayed that Allah Almighty protect all and help us to gain the benefit from the blessings of the Jalsa Salana as much as possible Hudhur (aba) said that by sacrificing their lives these martyrs have given new horizon to our thoughts Hudhur (aba) said that this biography is in no particular order. He was brave and declined a suggestion to skip the Juma occasionally for his own safety He always used to pray and used to ask others to pray for the good ending Maulvi Bashiruddin Sahib saw a white car in his dream and a voice said, I have come to take you. He never told anyone off, regular in Namaz He was good natured man and used to take legal cases of poor people for free and even would help his poor clients financially Hudhur (aba) said that these are the practical examples that need to be set by every Ahmadi for training of their children June 25TH 2010 The front of his personal diary had a brave faith inspiring quotation Chaudary Imtiaz Ahmed Martyrs of Lahore He was 34 years of age and came from a family that has been persecuted for a long time for being Ahmadi He had known by a dream that his life was going to be short, so he established financial independence for his wife He was Mossi and served Jama’at in many capacities. He had the duty for the security on the front gate of Daruzikr. He was martyred when trying to catch the terrorist. He was very dedicated. He used to do his duty with a sense of devotion. Once he worked in Daruzikr till after midnight and woke up for Tahajjud prayers at 3.30 am. His wife asked him to take at least some rest, he replied that he was not interested in the rest in this world and was focussed on the rest in the next world. He had leadership qualities and was keen to dedicate his life for the services of Jama’at. His children are Waqfe Nau June 25TH 2010 He would specially thank the Jama’at official if they gave his children an opportunity to serve Jama’at by Waqaray amal He was kind, sociable and regular in financial sacrifice. Amir Latif Paracha He was regular in Salat, Tahajjud and recitation of the Holy Qur’an He gifted his mother 4 suits shortly before his martyrdom and said, I am not sure how long will I live, please accept these He came from a distinguished Ahmadi family Martyrs of Lahore His mother has been seeing his late father in her dreams for sometime June 25TH 2010 Martyrs of Lahore Mirza Safdar Ahmed He belonged to a dedicated Ahmadi family and served Jama’at in many capacities and in several ways in Japan. Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih IV once prayed that may Allah make all Jama’at Japan follow his example. He was Moosi and his home in Pakistan was Salat centre. He was trained as a solar engineer An embodiment of love for all, hatred for none He was dedicated and committed to Khilafat and always fulfilled his promises. He had a simple lifestyle. He was quiet, righteous and maintained a high level of obedience. He never refused to do a Jama’at duty. In Japan his services were equal to Waqfe zindgi. He dedicated his house to be used as mission house in Japan. June 25TH 2010 Martyrs of Lahore Mirza Mahmood Ahmed He was a descendent of the companions of the Promised Messiah ( on whom be peace).He was martyred in Baitun Noor. He was dedicated and committed, He did Waqfe Aarzee regularly. He was simple and hardworking person His wife saw in a dream that he was in a palace with streams flowing, flowers and fresh breeze, saying this is my palace June 25TH 2010 Martyrs of Lahore Sheikh Mohammad Akram Athar His daughter in law saw in a dream that she has been given 3 presents from Ansar Hall in Rabwah. The funeral of martyrs was held in Ansar Hall June 25TH 2010 He saw in a dream that he was being beaten up by someone and some black dogs are after him Martyrs of Lahore He belonged to a noble family. There has been shaheed amongst his family elders. Mirza Mansoor Baig He was soft spoken, obedient and had a serving nature He was dedicated Ahmadi and his duty was on the first barrier for the security His wife is expecting their first baby soon. When reminded of his duty, he said, don’t worry I will be there and if required, take the first bullet on my chest He was the very first person to be shot at and was martyred instantaneously when gunman opened fire Hudhur (aba) prayed may Allah grant him pious, righteous, healthy and long living child and his wife and his mother see happiness in life, ameen June 25TH 2010 Martyrs of Lahore Meeyan Mohammad Munir Ahmed He was the paternal grandson of the Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih I. He was poorly and late for Juma on the day of the incidence. During the attack, he was trying to close the door to block entry of the terrorist when gunman stuck the nozzle of the gun through the door and opened fire He saw in a dream 10 years ago that a grave was being prepared next to Hadhrat Umar Farooq (ra) and he was told that this was his grave He was hospitable, righteous and pious person. He helped the needy. He would arrange the marriages of poor girls and support the education of poor children He was from the progeny of Hadhrat Umar Farooq (ra). He was regular in Salat and Tahajjud. Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih III (ra) said about him that he was the grandson of the person who was first to take Bai’at of the Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) June 25TH 2010 He was a medical doctor and held a high managerial position in Mayo Hospital Lahore. His son was injured during the attack Hudhur (aba) prayed that Allah Almighty grant perfect health to his injured doctor son. He was kind, caring, sophisticated and very nice to his patients. He was a loving father. He never spoke harshly. Dr Tariq Basheer He was committed, would regularly and repeatedly listen to Friday sermons. He was knowledgeable and read the books of the Promised Messiah ( on whom be peace) He was so popular that when his non Ahmadi landlord heard about is martyrdom, he fainted. He always paid the rent on time by going to the landlords home for six years. Martyrs of Lahore His wife saw in a dream that a beautiful house is floating in the heavens and he was in that house. She also saw in a dream that there is dreadful storm and earthquake and she could not find her husband anywhere. June 25TH 2010 He was descendent of the family of the companions of the Promised Messiah. He was a committed Ahmadi Arshad Mahmood Butt He was regular in Salt and Tahajjud. He paid his chanda regular and despite his disability would not depend on anyone Martyrs of Lahore He has read literature of the Jama’at, he was a man of prayers. He was regular in prayers and made big financial sacrifice June 25TH 2010 He was dedicated member of Jama’at. He took part in all the good deeds He was kind and caring. He was electrician by profession and would do the jobs for poor people without charge Mohmammad Hussain Malhi Martyrs of Lahore He always excelled in the acts of virtuousness He supervised the construction of the Mosque in his Halqa June 25TH 2010 He was dedicated Ahmadi who was injured by the grenade attack and martyred 3 days later in Hospital. Mirza Mohammad Amin He was dedicated, well mannered and sociable person. One night before the attack, he woke up from sleep and very loudly said Allah is the greatest Martyrs of Lahore June 25TH 2010 Martyrs of Lahore Malik Zubair Ahmed As a young man, wherever he walked he would do zikre illahi on the pavement When his son bought a car, he told him it is better to do Zikr illahi (remembrance of Allah) in the car then to listen to tapes and CDs He was regular in Salat and Tahajjud, used to watch MTA regularly. He was a keen boxer He has moved to Lahore one month ago and was new to Baitun Noor. During the attack, he was injured and saw his son looking for him frantically, He said to his son, if we die, we will be martyred along with our brothers His son wanted to insure the car, he explained to him that insurers are weak, Allah is more powerful. So give some money for chanda monthly for your car and seek Allah’s protection June 25TH 2010 He belonged to a distinguished family and a was teacher by profession. He had the honour to serve Jama’at as Mahasil • He had a special affiliation for Daruzikr for he took part in waqaray ammal for Daruzikr at a young age He was dedicated and has read Jama’at literature Chaudary Mohammad Nawaz Martyrs of Lahore His wife saw in a dream that someone was saying to him congratulations, your husband is still alive June 25TH 2010 He was martyred in Baitun Nur. He made to Juma prayers against all odds as he was destined to be a shaheed. He left work to go to Juma He was severely injured by the grenade attack and bled profusely. He walked to ambulance but could not make to the hospital Sheikh Mubasshar Ahmed Munir Ahmed He was simple, kind, helpful, caring, Sheikh He has a joint family system. He never popular and good to poor people gave anyone a reason to complaint. Martyrs of Lahore His sister in law saw a dream that he was in a white car flying towards Heavens June 25TH 2010 His daughter saw him in a dream after his martyrdom. He was standing at he door of the house and in response to her daughter's question that are you alive, he replied, I am well and I am with you. May Allah elevate the status of all martyrs May Allah be the Guardian and Protector of their families May Allah help their parents to bear this atrocity with patience and courage May Allah make their descendants strong in faith and steadfast in adhering to their faith Hudhur (aba) prayed for Martyrs May Allah keep everyone in his safety and protection.
