• Before the City Council is a request for a call for review of
a decision made by the Director.
> Request to remove:
One multi-trunk, 28” and 16” DBH, Ficus Nitida (Indian Laurel Fig).
One 20” DBH Poducarpus Gracilior (African Fern Pine).
Both located to the rear of an existing two-story commercial building.
> Approval to remove both trees was made on November 5, 2013.
> Appeal period was within 10 days of the decision, from November 5, 2013
to November 15, 2013. Effective date of November 18, 2013.
> Councilmember Tornek called for a review on Thursday, November 14,
2013.
> If the Council decides to Call for Review, a hearing will be scheduled
before the Board of Zoning Appeals.
> If the Council decides to not Call for Review the decision of the Director is
effective.
